Mariah’s Video for “Angels Cry” was “Illmatic” (we can use that as an adjective right?) all the way! In “Angels’s Cry” we see Mariah singing in the rain which is an old-school feel greatly appreciated in my eyes!
Mrs. Carey-Cannon also released the video for the highly anticipated remix to “Up Out My Face” featuring Nicki Minaj. Unimpressed is the word I thought of after seeing the video!

I am still trying to figure out where she fits in my earbuds to better detect her “sound” because Ms. Minaj experiments frequently and quickly it’s almost a second job trying to keep up! Nonetheless, she is a newbie I love-to-hate 
GIRLFRIEND, is a fly track to dedicate to your BFF whoever that may be and put it on BLAST while driving by the HATERZ. This is a sweet song about friends since Brandy hit us with Best Friend back in the mid-90s!
Line from GirlFriend: “Whenever I slide through,I gotta go buy two/If i get it in the pink,I get her the light-blue”.
Next up on my list is: YOUR LOVE, this is slower than most of Nicki’s material. Miss Minaj show’s a SMOOTHER side of herself that only a certain man can do with his love.
Line from Your Love: “Anyway, I think I met him in the sky; When I was a Geisha, he was Samari”
Lastly, F U Silly, which is not Nicki’s song but she feature’s on it with Cassie. Remember not too long ago Miss Harajuku Barbie gave us a line about “taking Cassie away from Diddy” on Little Freak? Well, I find it safe to observe she got what she wanted with this track! Nicki plays with her delivery and raps with a british accent.
A british accent, hmmm, about that one…

So Miss “Harajuku Barbie” has a new BFF outside of her YoungMoney clique, Mariah Carey. The two got together to remix a track from Mariah’s “Memoir of an Imperfect Angel” which is due to be re-released later this year full of remixes.
The Harajuku Barbie in Dang-A-Lang, Shakin’ It For Daddy, Little Freak, and BedRock, had a flow that was gettin’ sick and becoming her OWN. Prior to that there was always an undertone of Foxy Brown other female rappers, in her rapping style, so with the tracks listed, HER rapping was starting to get DISTINCT.
BUT, Nicki’s verse on Mariah’s Remix “Up Out My Face” was a disappointment. Nicki, Nicki Lewinsky, you could have come harder!
There was no attitude, now killer swag, no vicious lyrics to match the passionate request of Mariah singing to get “Up Out My Face!” As for flow, it’s not as tight as the tracks I listed, something she did again on “F U Silly” with Cassie. That review is coming soon

This video is more than easy on the eyes! Keri and Akon have a wonderful duet where they are both shining in the best light vocally. The directing and editing of this project was artistic and played with color tactfully!!

Monica had done it again and had not done this well since “Miss Thang.” This is a hard-core love song that gets deep in your soul!
Here it is just Monica and the Mic; raw vocals & talent where the production compliments her voice instead of compete with it.
Hi guys, so Maino did it again, but did it by poking fun at Tiger Woods. The title of his newest track is “Get Em Tiger” where he blatantly raps that he cannot be faithful! (Can more men admit this?)
Oh, if only Tiger could put out a diss record right back, how fly would that be?!
